Statement from the Democratic Solidarity Party of Ahwaz on the Recent Israeli Strikes against Iranian Regime Military Sites
To the courageous Ahwaz Arab Nation,
At this critical juncture—when precise external strikes shake the foundations of the Iranian regime—the world has once again witnessed the vulnerability of a system that long claimed strength and deterrence. Four decades of hollow rhetoric, an exhausting arms race, and the construction of so-called “missile cities” and air defence systems have now been reduced to ashes in a conflict the regime itself provoked.
The recent attacks on military, security, and nuclear installations have laid bare the fundamental failure of the regime’s security apparatus. They highlight the futility of decades of investment in a system that is incapable of protecting even its infrastructure. The vast wealth extracted from the people of Iran was never used for their security, but solely to ensure the regime’s continuity.
We say this clearly, to our Ahwazi Arab people and to all the peoples of Iran: This is not our war, neither directly nor indirectly. This is the regime’s war—the war of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps—driven by a bankrupt expansionist agenda wholly disconnected from the needs and aspirations of the Iranian people. The scenes of public celebration in Tehran following the deaths of senior Revolutionary Guard commanders speak volumes. They reflect the growing chasm between the regime and its population, including significant segments of the Persian majority.
The Democratic Solidarity Party of Ahwaz believes the moment is now. Our national duty calls us to prepare for the decisive hour. It is time to launch a unified national liberation initiative, coordinated with other oppressed peoples and groups victimised by this regime. Our goal is clear: to bring down this authoritarian system, hold its leaders accountable for their crimes, and establish a free, inclusive state—one that serves all segments of society, protects national resources for their rightful owners, and pursues balanced relations with regional and international partners, free from the rhetoric of violence, isolation, and hostility.
This is a historic opportunity that must not be lost—a responsibility that falls on all of us. We must strive to secure full citizenship rights and ensure that future generations grow up in freedom and dignity.
Now is not the time for division or political point-scoring. Our focus is singular: the homeland. Our objective is clear: to establish a secular, federal republic that guarantees justice and equality for all peoples.
Long live a free and Arab Ahwaz! Long live the unity of Iran’s peoples in the face of tyranny!
Down with the regime of oppression and despotism.
